Exhibition – The Borough Broderers

Join us at the Ancient High House for a small exhibition which showcases some of the work done by the Borough Broderers. This group created most of the fantastic embroidery work seen around the Ancient High House, from bedsheets to curtains and footstools.

Come along to peak behind the scenes and learn about this group. And if this interests you, why not consider joining one of our current embroidery workshop groups to continue their legacy! You can find details of these on our ‘Whats On’ page.

The exhibition will be running during usual Ancient High House opening hours, Tuesday through Saturday 10am to 4pm. Entrance is free but donations are kindly accepted.

Please be aware that this exhibition is located on the first floor of the Ancient High House, up a flight of stairs. There are steps to enter into the building and then 17 more wide steps with a handrail to get to the first floor. For toilets, the womens is on the first floor too, a few feet from the Workshop room. As for the mens, they will need to go up another flight of 17 steps to the second floor. Historic Stafford staff are always present to assist you if required.
